Volunteer Position Description: Nutrition Intern

Camp Ho Mita Koda is looking for nutrition interns for our type 1 camp and type 2 camp. June 15th - 30th (Session 1-3); July 6th - 17th (Session 4); July 20th - 31st (Session 5); & August 3rd - 7th (type 2) are all available in various combinations and commitment levels. This unique nutrition experience offers aspects of community, pediatrics, clinical, food service management, disordered eating, celiac disease and other allergies, and of course diabetes. Interns will gain practical knowledge about living with diabetes and diabetes management that will compliment their existing knowledge base. Nutrition staff and interns will play a vital role in education and the diabetes management of the entire camp.
