About Duane Kertyzak - Photographer

"It was the summer of 2005 when I arrived at Camp Ho Mita Koda and worked as a cabin counselor for that summer. As an elementary teacher, I have the summers off and wanted to learn more about diabetes and I thought working at the camp would be a great way to learn about the disease.

Recently in 2009, I returned to the camp as a photographer and cabin counselor. As the photographer I wanted to capture the human moments of the camp experience and share with you those images.
